Arianne Slack
Arianne Slack was recently invested as a cantor at the Jewish Theological Seminary, having aspired to become a cantor since the age of eight. She is a graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts/Rutgers University with a bachelor of music education/voice, and recently began her first full time position at Sinai Temple in Los Angeles (www.sinaitemple.org), a place where musical dreams come true every Shabbat morning. Arianne has appeared in many musicals and operas, including The Fantasticks (Luisa), Carnival (Lili), and Anything Goes (Hope). She has sung as a soloist at Carnegie Hall and has performed with the Folksbiene Yiddish Theatre in productions such as On Second Avenue, The Witch, and The Sacrifice of Isaac. Ari was a soloist at the Milken Archive's Only in America conference, and a pop vocalist winner for NJ state. She was the recipient of the 2004 Einstein Prize in Composition, and enjoys composing and arranging music for Ashira!
Laura Lenes
Laura graduated Cum Laude with highest honors from The University of Florida with both a Bachelors of Arts degree in Drama Education and a minor in musical theater. Recently, she completed a dual Masters Degrees in Deaf Education and Elementary Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College. Laura is currently the third grade teacher at The Special Music School of America, where she can integrate into the third grade curriculum her passions for singing, acting, signing, and dancing. Laura performs around the NYC area as the vocalist in The Chai Notes and My Cousins Band, and original alt rock band. She has performed in over twenty-five musical theater productions and plays. Laura is the founder University of Florida's first Jewish a capella group, Tanin, as well as The Signing Gators, an organization that teaches the hearing community about Deaf Culture and American Sign Language.
Leah Moss

Leah Moss, a native Torontonian, moved to New York City to pursue her singing career.  She attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, has graduated from the Internship Affiliate Program at Broadway Dance Center, and was a student at The Juilliard School. She is currently studying at Mannes College of Music. Leah has performed on numerous ocassions with The New York Grand Opera, including Verdi's "Un Ballo in Maschera" at Central Park's Summer Stage and Verdi's "Requiem" at Carnegie Hall under the direction of Maestro Vincent La Selva, with whom she has also studied privately.  Leah also had the honor of playing the role of Cassie in "A Chorus Line" at the Colleen Dewhurst Theater in upstate New York.  In the summer of 2002 she had the opportunity of studying opera in Siena, Italy at the Senese Per La Musica. In November 2002, Leah performed for benefit concerts at Temple Emanuel in Greensboro, North Carolina, The Performing Arts Center in Salt Lake City, Utah in June 2003 as well as at Beth Tikvah in Toronto, Canada in January 2003, from which she recorded her live performance and released her debut CD entitled "Lighting Darkness ~ Music from the Soul"  She is currently working on new concerts as well as a second album.
